Applause

"Boy oh boy. If Laughter is a mandatory ingredient in your life, as it is mine, check out Comedy Improv Classes through Phantom Sheep Players...There are nights with this group that I laugh so hard I snort, shriek and bend over howling. This class is for any level of experience. The troupe gently pulls you into the fold. It's a wonderful learning experience on so many levels. I am learning about myself, my relationships, my strengths and weaknesses. There is freedom to screw up without feeling like crap. Cost is wicked reasonable. I can get that info if anyone is interested."- Betsy (2023)
"I absolutely love taking these classes. I love the people, the instructors, everyone involved: everyone works above and beyond to create this awesome experience"- Mark (2026).
"Thank you Eric Boucher and Phantom Sheep Players for these Improv classes. I appreciate the instructions, demonstrations, scene direction and follow-ups. You put a lot of thought into what to teach, when you teach it, how to teach it, and who needs what. I can see how you shape what you share depending on what the individual, or group of players needs. I appreciate that we all get to play multiple times a session. You trust us and let us go for it. Deep bow of gratitude to you all."
- Robert Rivest (2025)
"We wanted to thank [Tommy, Eric, Josh, and Paige] for the classes, we thoroughly enjoyed them. And are looking forward to participating again.... We felt very welcomed and comfortable to jump right into the classes and it was fun, sometimes a bit “scary” and mostly easy to say yes to each activity. We attribute that to your explanations and your warm welcoming presence, feedback and joyous spirit. Shout out go to the whole group for welcoming, inspiring and being open to playing with us!"- Wendy (2026)
"Last night I took an improv class that ended up being so much fun and I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time! Thanks to Eric for creating a safe space for me to come out of my shell"- Lauren
"Absolutely loved the last class. I can’t tell you how much it helped me to become more confident, to trust my instincts, and to believe in the choices and decisions I make. On top of that, it was an absolute blast. Thank you, and I can’t wait for more!"- Bill B
"I’m currently in my second session of classes with the Phantom Sheep Players, and it is one of the best investments I have made in myself. Even in a short amount of time, I have learned so much about improv and have a newfound confidence in myself. Additionally, these classes are a great way to relieve stress and are something to look forward to on Mondays. Working with the troupe and other classmates are an absolute joy, and everyone is always supportive of each other." (2018)
"I have taken a few classes with Phantom Sheep, and I have loved every minute of it! The classes are a great way to enhance your improv skills in a judgement-free setting. The instructors are very kind and supportive, and they have helped me to step outside my comfort zone and build confidence. I would highly recommend taking these classes, especially if you love to laugh!"- Lexi Oliver (Western MA News reporter)
"Have been taking classes with Phantom Sheep for about two years now, and have seen tremendous growth in my comfort on stage, as well as generalized confidence. Eric and Tommy run a profesional class at a great rate!"- Adam
"Not only have I learned about improv, but in a broader sense, I've learned about character developement, listening on stage, and working with your scene partner. These are invaluable lessons in the world of theatre and acting and I can't recommend their classes enough. Special shout-out to Eric, Tommy, and Jeff, for being the leaders of this great troupe."(2022)
"These classes are a lot of fun and you learn stuff painlessly about yourself and how to react to, collaborate with and support others. I have brought several "newbies" in and all have been welcomed warmly and uniformly were happily surprised at what they accomplished"- Simon
“…Our own “Yoda” of sorts, the Phantom Sheep Productions Improv troupe. Thanks to their workshops…we acquired the skills we need to successfully make fools of ourselves without making complete fools of ourselves”
-Steve, “Puce Tomato Gods” WHS student troupe.
“Overall, [our class] got to know each other better, and felt comfortable working with themselves and each other. They also learned how to think faster on their feet.”
- Andru, WCCH
